Dave Male, Corporate Photographer - DSM Productions
Dave is an experienced corporate photographer and owner of DSM Productions, Medford, NJ. He has a BS from Virginia Wesleyan University and a master’s from University of Louisiana, SW majoring in Communications and over 30 years of business, fashion and dance photography experience under his belt.
In addition to his love of dance photography, Dave has been one of the main photographers shooting Catalog Photography for A Wish Come True, Costume Gallery, Art Stone and Dansco for 25+ years. He has also traveled the globe shooting in the modeling, magazine and entertainment industries.
Dave specializes in “people on location using studio lighting” - capturing a natural, genuine moment or conveying a feeling. Location shoots reveal an array of non-studio unfavorable conditions such as: shooting with (usually) non-professional models, lighting issues, respect for the people and work still being done around you, outdoor weather concerns, and much more. He creates a finished studio look, while making the subject feel comfortable and having fun in an efficient and timely manner. (Both complex sets or simple image capture.)
